professional organizing. These initiatives publicize the industry,

in making life work better:

 |
National Get Organized
Month (GO Month)
Established by NAPO in 1992, GO Month takes place the month of October and is listed in Chases Directory of Annual
Events. NAPO Chapters sponsor special initiatives during GO
Month. Many organizers schedule classes, seminars and workshops
at this time of year. |
| |
 |
National Clean Off
Your Desk Day
This annual event is scheduled for the second Monday in January.
Like GO Month, it gives organizers a chance to celebrate the
benefits of organization. Clean Off Your Desk Day is a good
time to put New Years resolutions into practice. |
| |
 |
NAPO Annual National
Conference
Held in a different city each spring, this is NAPOs premiere
event. Its workshops, classes, and meetings are attended by
organizers from around the world. In addition, the National
Conference includes an Organizing Expo which is open to the
public. The Expo features cutting-edge organizing products and
demonstrations from a broad range of suppliers and manufacturers. |
| |
 |
NAPO-SFBA Annual
Regional Conference
This one-day conference is a highlight of the Chapters
year. To complement the National Conference, it takes
place in the fall. Highlights of the day include presentations
by keynote and workshop speakers, a regional Organizing
Expo, and an evening reception. |
| |
 |
NAPO-SFBA March
Into Action
Because not-for-profit groups benefit the community as
a whole, teams of Bay Area organizers spend time each
year helping such groups get better organized. This event
is spearheaded by NAPO-SFBAs neighborhood support
groups. It gives organizing services to agencies all around
the Bay Area. |
