Questions?

Since 1988, NAPO-SFBA has hosted a day-long conference formerly known as the Annual Seminar. With speakers of national recognition and corporate partners demonstrating organizing products, this lively event draws a growing crowd of professional organizers and others interested in the industry. People come from far and wide to attend. In 2002, to give the Seminar the credit and recognition it deserved, we've renamed it the NAPO-SFBA Regional Conference. Throughout the day, products and services from national and local vendors are raffled off, and organizing items such as books and educational tapes are available for purchase. Attending this conference is an excellent way to learn about organizing and collaborate with your colleagues.

Organizers are visionaries with a passion for bringing about change. This year's Conference theme, Grow Your Vision, invites each of us to take a close, thoughtful look at the big picture. What kind of business do you want to build? What do you want your personal life to look like? How will these two important spheres mesh together? What steps do you need to take to turn your vision into reality?

To help us answer these questions, two nationally-respected professional organizers are coming to Walnut Creek to share their wisdom.

Barbara Hemphill delivers our opening keynote, "How Big Is Your Vision?" She is a past president of NAPO National, a recipient of the Founder's Award (NAPO's highest honor), author of Kiplinger's Taming the Paper Tiger books, founder of the Hemphill Productivity Institute, and developer of the Taming the Paper Tiger storage management software. Barbara's vision and leadership have helped the organizing industry grow and prosper.

Our closing keynote speaker is Harold Taylor, management consultant, time management expert, founder of Harold Taylor Time Consultants, and author of 15 books and 200+ articles on time management. Harold, too, was awarded NAPO's Founder's Award for his long-time service on the national board of directors. He wrote Making Time Work For You, one of the seven books on NAPO's required certification reading list. His topic is "Time For Success."

In between the two keynotes, the Conference offers three workshop sessions, numerous networking opportunities, and sponsor exhibits. Check out the workshop descriptions in the registration flyer. Plan to catch up with colleagues, make new business connections, and talk to friends throughout the day. Visit our sponsors' booths at the post-closing reception. And keep in mind that continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and the reception are included in your registration.

This year, we're pleased to introduce Clearly Organized™, the sponsor for our post-closing reception. Clearly Organized™ provides individuals with turnkey solutions for organizing and maintaining one of the most important aspects of their lives, their finances. The Company's product, the Clearly Organized™ Personal Financial System, is a unique tool that keeps monthly bills and receipts organized, helps maintain clean financial records, and simplifies tax preparation.
